On this way, Muslims of the sub-continent had taken the independence from the British way back in 1947 after the mammoth struggle for the separate country. Quaid-e-Azam Mouhammad Ali Jinnah had made this happen for the Muslims. On this day, the patriotism for the country is seen among the masses of Pakistan. The houses, buildings, roads and streets are decorated with flags and buntings. The lights are placed on the buildings. National anthems and songs are played.
